Awake In Suburbia  

A New Generation of Rock

Growing up in Rockaway Borough, Nic Bova and John Rice met at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Staying in contact throughout High School, the two took interest in playing the guitar.

So it's no surprise that in 2019 they decided to get together, and alongside John's brother Michael, formed the world's next great three-piece Rock Band: Awake In Suburbia.

Taking inspiration from both rock and roll classics and more modern influences, Awake In Suburbia has crafted a sound that is both nostalgic and revolutionary. Their music is accessible to a wide audience. From adolescents to adults, the three have set off on this adventure for one reason: to make music that people can enjoy.
